Toyota sends new parts to plants, not dealers



Toyota models that have been withdrawn for sale, identified by a single windshield wiper pointing skyward, are parked in a Los Angeles storage lot on Thursday.  Toyota is sending new gas pedal systems to car factories rather than dealerships who want the parts to take care of millions of customers whose pedals may stick.
