Cameron aims for ‘Titanic’ results with ‘Avatar’



James Cameron, the director behind “Titanic” and this year’s “Avatar,” talks with TODAY’s Meredith Vieira about the new movie, which is his first feature film in 12 years. “Avatar” is being called the most expensive movie ever made, with a price tag of more than $230 million. (Today Show)A colossal budget, visionary technology and a down-to-the-wire workload on a film whose fortunes are a real question mark. James Cameron has been here before on little ditties called “Terminator 2: Judgment Day” and “Titanic.”  This time, his vision is riding on “Avatar.”
