Taliban Destroy Bridges and Get Ready for Battle
After hearing that the Afghan Army was preparing to fight them, hundreds of Taliban militants geared up for battle near Kandahar. The militants have already destroyed many bridges, occupied several villages and planted mines outside Kandahar. Hundreds of families were forced to run away from the area.
Hundreds of Army soldiers are flying to a district near Kandahar to deal with the situation. According to the Ministry of defense almost 400 Taliban militants are foreign and that an attack to Kandahar can be launched any time. Kandahar is the 2nd largest city in Afghanistan.
