Air Force Firings
Military leaders of the air force were fired on Thursday. Defense Secretary Robert Gates announced the ouster of air force secretary Michael win and also chief of staff general Tim Michael as he revealed findings from a report about the mishandling of nuclear weapons.
The investigation concluded that nuclear weapons have been improperly handled when on August 29 a bomber crew flew from North Dakota to Louisiana unaware that nuclear warheads were on board.
