Sen. Ted Kennedy leaves Hospital
One day after the announcement that Sen. Kennedy was diagnosed with brain cancer, another surprise, he left the hospital and went to his home in Cape Cod.
Ted Kennedy walked out of mass general at 10am wearing a patch on his head where doctors took a biopsy of his tumor. Kennedy walked with a smile on his face under a run of applause. With his family and his dogs he rushed into the car to go back to his home in Cape Cod. Sen. Kennedy despite the tumor announcement said he was doing well and he was feeling well.
Kennedy was diagnosed with a Malignant glioma which doctors say that usually grows very quickly and is usually fatal within 1-5 years. In Cape Cod the Senator went for a sailing trip.
