21 killed with tornado
The Tornado what hit the US this weekend has killed at least 21 people, including 6 in Picher, OK, 12 in Newton Co., MO, 1 in Carthage, MO, 1 in Purdy, MO. and 1 person in Dublin, GA.
The Tornado was so devastating that in Picher, Oklahoma 25 blocks were destroyed by the twister, and that was just one town. The Tornado moved furiously on Saturday evening. At least 8 tornadoes smashing into towns were seen from Oklahoma through Arkansas and Missouri. The pictures of the descrution in some places were disturbing. Cars thrown miles away and homes pushed clean off of their foundations. Many of the homes destroyed by the tornadoes were uninsured and owners would have to start all over again to regain their losses.
